When we launched emlen in October 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, we started to tackle the challenge that 81% of today's B2B buyers expect a B2C customer experience - just as they experience when consuming content on Netflix or shopping quickly and easily on Amazon.

We had always asked ourselves why it is not possible to create a similar experience in the process of purchasing software, services or technology in the B2B environment. Currently, it's a cumbersome and complicated process, often involving several tools and touchpoints from the beginning of the journey to the deal closing, and it does not provide an individually tailored experience for the buyer. That's why we started rethinking how to set up Buyer Enablement.

After just one year, more than 200 business leaders already use emlen to line up their sales and marketing efforts in order to simplify and enhance the purchasing process for their customers. To further grow our business, we are currently seeking a hungry (Senior) Account Executive (m/f/d) to join our team in Berlin as the first hire in our Sales team. We're looking for someone who is truly ambitious, not only to exceed individual targets but also to play a wider, pivotal role in growing emlen as a business. 🚀 🚀 What you’ll be doing - # buyerledgrowth 🚀 🚀

  • Develop and execute lead generation strategies in collaboration with co-founders
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead to close and handover to our customer success team.
  • Get the best of our emlen product to create individualized destinations for each lead and conduct the entire communication process within the destination
  • Coordination of new customer requirements with leadership to systematically identify potential for new customer groups
  • Collaborate on team projects to polish and refine our sales process, articulate our value proposition, and participate in creating key tools and assets.
  • Track, analyze, and communicate key sales metrics and business trends; tracking the results and reporting to founders
  • Diligently manage CRM requirements on HubSpot
  • The role involves the possibility to help us set up a high-performance team of future SDRs and AEs.

Job requirements

💪🏼 💪🏼 Your strengths 💪🏼 💪🏼

  • A proven track record of successful management of SME/Enterprise accounts in a high-performance SaaS sales environment

  • Analytical and data-driven – you can define KPIs and measure progress/success for your initiatives

  • Proficiency with HubSpot or similar CRM software

  • Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment

  • Strong negotiation abilities on top of excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English are required

  • Experience working in the DACH market is an advantage

  • Team lead experience is a plus
