When we launched emlen in October 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, we started to tackle the challenge that 81% of today's B2B buyers expect a B2C customer experience - just as they experience when consuming content on Netflix or shopping quickly and easily on Amazon.
We had always asked ourselves why it is not possible to create a similar experience in the process of purchasing software, services or technology in the B2B environment. Currently, it's a cumbersome and complicated process, often involving several tools and touchpoints from the beginning of the journey to the deal closing, and it does not provide an individually tailored experience for the buyer. That's why we started rethinking how to set up Buyer Enablement.
After just one year, more than 200 business leaders already use emlen to line up their sales and marketing efforts in order to simplify and enhance the purchasing process for their customers. To further grow our business, we are currently seeking a hungry Account Executive #Buyer Enablement Manager (m/f/d) to join our team in Berlin as the first hire in our Sales team. You will help us generate, qualify and excite new leads, and be the first point of contact for all of emlen's sales efforts. You'll focus on our DACH market at the forefront of our outbound sales prospecting. The ideal candidate will have solid communication skills and a strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization. Proactively seeking new business opportunities and generating qualified leads, as well as building your contact database through research & profiling
Use a multichannel approach (personalised videos, calls, emails, Linkedin messages etc) to generate new sales opportunities, using established but always improving sequencing and automation best practices
Get the best of our emlen product to create individualized destinations for each lead and conduct the entire communication process within the destination
As a true team player, set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives to move the pipeline forward across the sales funnel with the information they need to close the deal
Provide visibility to the wider team by documenting and reporting on your progress
Demonstrate a true interest in learning everything about your prospects processes and collecting insights around their pain points, as if they were your own
